Phyllis Adler is a winner of 42 national senior tennis championships. In 1998, she was dubbed the “#1 Ranked 70 & Over Women’s Doubles Player in the World”, after winning the World’s Senior title in the Marble Cup, sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation.

Two of Adler’s championships were in Singles (age groups 55 & 70), 27 are in Doubles, and 13 are in Mixed Doubles.

Born in L.A’s Boyle Heights, Phyllis Adler played tennis as a youth but did not begin playing seriously until turning forty. After winning many local tournaments, she entered and won her first national event in 1967.
