Jerry Weinstein has always been a pacesetter in the competitive television sports market as the No. 1 packager of local and national sports production programming since 1998. He has been in the sports production business for over 25 years as well as working as both a producer and director on major sports broadcasts. He is a three-time Emmy winner for his Los Angeles Laker broadcasts while working as the President and CEO of JDUB Productions. He has produced numerous local college sports as well as Angels baseball, Lakers basketball and AVP volleyball. His company has been assigned many NCAA sports production assignments and videos going back to the 1990s.
Weinstein’s company is responsible for producing over 150 different sports events a year with a specialty in the Olympic Sports college market. Some of his clients include ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS, NBC, ABC, Time-Warner and the NCAA. Programming includes college football, college basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball, water polo and more. For the broadcasts, Weinstein is in charge of hiring all aspects of the production crew (from announcers to the TV truck personnel) leading to the event appearing on live television. The Cal State Northridge and Granada Hills HS graduate has been the executive producer for NCAA major sport banquet videos that are shown in connection with the championships. He is a resident of Redondo Beach with his wife and son.
